What: Each night will include a presentation with Q&A, conversation, Night Prayer and refreshments.

April 18 – Americans on the Path to Sainthood: Emil Kapaun, Blandina Segale, and Nicholas Black Elk by Fr. David Endres, PhD 

 

Fr. David Endres is academic dean and professor of Church history and historical theology at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary/The Athenaeum of Ohio. He holds a doctoral degree from the School of Theology at The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. He is editor of the scholarly quarterly, U.S. Catholic Historian and contributes a monthly column to the Catholic Telegraph.

 

May 16 – Take and Receive: St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Eucharist, and Apostolic Mysticism by Matthew Zurcher, SJ

Matthew Zurcher, S.J. is a Jesuit in formation currently serving at Xavier University as a campus minister and adjunct professor of philosophy. Matthew’s past jobs include choral and orchestral conductor, live-in halfway house manager, death row chaplain, high school English teacher, and nurse’s aide. He holds a Bachelor of Humanities and Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Arts in social philosophy from Loyola University Chicago. He is a connoisseur of ice cream and Phish.
