Sacrament of Marriage

Engaged couples are to contact the Parish Office as soon as they begin to plan for their marriage preferably a year in advance of their desired wedding date. No date should be set or reception hall reserved until the couple has met with a priest or deacon of the church. The priests, deacons and the community of faith at St. Ignatius are here to walk with you in this time, to encourage a growing appreciation for this great Sacrament, and to support you in living it out.  Specifically as a Sacrament, Marriage is established to be a genuine sign of Christ’s love for His Church – and the Sacramental bond is a source of grace for both husband and wife.  Using the “Fully Engaged” program, couples will explore many important topics relating to marriage under the guidance of a mentor couple.   Please contact Jeanne Clifton at 513-661-6565 ext. 2701 to begin the process.
