Eucharistic Minister

Parish members help distribute the Eucharist at Masses and Communion Services. Anyone Interested in assisting in this important parish ministry can contact Rick and Kim Thomas.

Lectors proclaim the Word of God effectively to the assembled community. Lectors receive preparation books to assist in preparing for the Liturgy of the Word. All are invited to join in this ministry to proclaim the Word of the Lord. Training is provided. Contact Len Johansing (470-8886)

Liturgical Movement

8th grade students assist at Masses through reflective movement and prayer.

The main events and Masses we participate in are:

  • Christ the King;  2nd Sunday of Advent
  • Pentecost Sunday
  • All School Masses correlating to the above celebrations.
  • Also, joint celebrations with other churches throughout the year.

Altar Servers

Being a server is an opportunity for girls and boys (grades 6, 7, and 8) to assist at Masses, and for high school students/adults, families to assist at the weekend Masses. Servers are trained in the sanctuary and sacristy. The training takes about one hour. Students are trained at the end of 5th grade. Others can be trained at any time by appointment by calling Fr. Pete (661-6565), Ed Emmerling, or Ryland Koppenhoefer (661-6565).

Ushers and Greeters

To emphasize our St. Ignatius family unity, this group will be at the doors to welcome you, to seat you and to take up the collection. Both men and women, from high school age through senior citizens, are invited to provide this service, sign up HERE!

Music Ministry

Our Music Ministry is under the direction of Ms. Patty Stretch, our Music Minister. Join one of our various and vast music groups or choirs!
