Welcome from the Pastor

Ite, inflammate omnia – Go, set the world on fire.

Our patron saint, St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), often ended his letters to the members of his order going to the missions with this expression.  I believe today and every day he is saying the same to our parish – church and school – who are under his patronage.  Through our baptism, we, too, are missionaries, not to distant lands or foreign peoples but to those we encounter each day in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces and classrooms.  We are called to set the world on fire with passion and zeal for Jesus!

Each of us – from the newest parishioners to life-long St. I’s parishioners – is uniquely created in the image and likeness of God and thus has a unique role that no one else has in building up God’s kingdom, to set the world on fire!

Let us always pray for each other and may everything we say, think and do be, as our patron saint teaches us, “for the greater glory of God.”

Our Mission

As a Roman Catholic Christian community, St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish exists in union with the Universal Church to proclaim and live the Gospel teachings of Jesus. Through prayer, worship, and generously giving of our time, talents, and resources we strive to build the Kingdom of God in our parish, Cincinnati area, and world.
