Parish School of Religion (PSR)

The Parish School of Religion (PSR) program is designed for families that are looking for Catholic religious education for their children. Most of our PSR families are enrolled in public schools or homeschool their children. This family-based catechesis program is available as support to you, as the first educators of your children, and is designed to help your family grow in their relationship with God and in the knowledge and practice of your Roman Catholic faith. Sessions are on Sunday mornings*, begin in September and extend through April.

All families are encouraged to attend 8:30 Mass on Sunday morning, and join together in fellowship and a short family activity immediately after Mass in the school cafeteria on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month.

Children ages 3-9 (preschool-grade 2) will be instructed weekly in our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) atrium in the Parish Office building following fellowship. *CGS sessions are also available on Mondays and Thursdays, please see the link to the right for more information.

Children ages 10+ (grades 3+) will have sessions with catechists following fellowship on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.

Family Faith Formation & Fellowship (FFF&F) will occur on the 3rd Sundays, and is designed for parents and children (grades 3+). ALL FAMILIES of the parish are invited to join us! This catechesis will occur from 10-11:30.

Sacramental preparation is completed over a two year formation period, whether preparing for First Holy Communion, or Confirmation.
