Young Christian Hearts
Young Christian Hearts is an outreach spiritual program to prepare special needs adults for the Sunday liturgy. In addition, the group offers service opportunities to the participants. New members are needed to join Young Christian Hearts. Special needs adults, ages 18 and over, are encouraged to join the group. As an outreach program to other parishes, participants do not have to be members of St. Ignatius. Parish members assist the facilitator, Geri Tengler.
Usually the group meets on the first Friday of the month between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Ignatius Center, but in October the group is meeting on Friday, October 10. During Advent, the group is planning a service opportunity called Lessons and Carols at a local retirement center. For more information about the group, Lessons and Carols, or to verify dates, please call Geri Tengler at 513.741.4758.
Join us in praying for our nation at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, in the St. Ignatius parking lot (in front of the school). The world is at a historic crossroad.
God is more offended than ever as people ignore Our Lady’s maternal request to “stop offending God.” Yes, we must listen to Our Lady’s request and stop sinning if we hope to enjoy God’s blessings and to avert His wrath. He will hear us, if we pray through the intercession of His Blessed Mother.
Last year was very well attended, and we are hoping for even more attendees this year. Remember to bring a chair. Contact Ric Aielli, Grand Knight of the K of C LaSalle Council 5621, for more information at 513.661.9027 or ricaielli@gmail.com. Learn more at https://americaneedsfatima.org.
Join us Saturday mornings at 7 a.m. for an interactive men’s program focused on the development of male leadership in the modern world, combining the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith. The program is divided into two, 13-week semesters. The fall emphasizes the development of the Scriptural vision of man, especially in his relationship to his family and society, while the spring emphasizes the practical means of becoming that man.

The Why We’re Catholic Course is Coming Back!
Join us for six sessions starting on October 15.
From a recent course participant:
“The Why We’re Catholic series was a powerful and enlightening experience. The book, of the same name, provided excellent information about the Catholic Faith and why we believe what we believe. Deacon Tony helped on how to respond when others question us about the Faith and what the Church teaches.”
– Jerry Nordman
The course will be offered starting October 15 for six consecutive Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. in the Ignatius Center. Everyone gets a free copy of an easy-to-read book called Why We’re Catholic, which serves as the basis for questions and answers hrough open discussion. Course size is limited, so register now with Deacon Tony at tonygag002@gmail.com. See the yellow flyers at the church entrances for more information.
Join us as Archbishop Robert G. Casey of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati throws out the first pitch at an upcoming Cincinnati Reds home game on Saturday, August 30 at Great American Ballpark. The pitch will be around 6:25 p.m., prior to the game between the Cincinnati Reds and the St. Louis Cardinals, which begins at 6:40 p.m.
In addition to Archbishop Casey’s participation, the evening will include a celebration of Catholic schools across the archdiocese. Activities include: wiping down & storing tables, removing booth netting & parking lot signage, and general event closeout. A delicious lunch will be provided after cleanup to all those present at noon!
Questions? Email us at festival@sainti.org Hope to see you on Monday, August 25th at 8:30 a.m. Thanks so much!
We still have several open spots for booth volunteers. Please help to ensure our festival is a success! Click here to sign up!
