Friday was a great evening under the stars with an outdoor Mass, a Eucharistic procession, Praise and Worship music, food trucks, clergy entertainment, VBS sing-along, and movies on a big screen!!!  Thank you Fr. Fernandes, Fr. Moore, & Fr. Willig for sharing the evening with us! Check out all the photos below!

We’re pleased to share the logo for the celebration of our Parish and School’s 75th Anniversary! You will begin to see this logo whenever we recognize or promote events for these important milestones. The parish turns 75 in January 2021, and our school will be 75 in September 2022. The logo clearly illustrates our 75th Anniversary mission to commemorate our past, celebrate today, and recommit to a future in which we proclaim the joy of Jesus Christ found in our Church. Together, let’s “Go and set the world on fire!”

On behalf of the Jubilee Leadership, we’d like to thank Christine Ruhe, who used her talents to create the logo for us. She is the daughter of parishioners Peggy and Mike Ruhe. Any time you want to use our 75th Anniversary logo, please contact Melanie Crowe at 513-661-6565 or communications@sainti.org.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has delayed planning, we look forward to doing what we can to celebrate all things St. Ignatius. If you would like to volunteer for a subcommittee, please contact the appropriate chair.

Our tabernacle has been beautifully restored. The doors on the tabernacle were repaired and the whole tabernacle was cleaned and refurbished. The word “tabernacle” means dwelling place. Just as God dwelt with the Israelites in the desert, so too in the Eucharist, God dwells with His people and remains waiting for us to visit Him and to adore Him. Recognizing His Presence is also important. It is for this reason, that a candle is kept burning, acknowledging His Presence. For this reason, we should always, if we are physically able, genuflect in the Presence of our King whenever we pass in front of the tabernacle or enter into or exit from our pew. For this same reason, we maintain a reverential silence in church, acknowledging that God is with us.

Fruits of the #igivecatholic Campaign

You will notice upon entering church that a new tabernacle (temporary) is on the altar! Thanks to the gifts given for the #igivecatholic campaign in December, St. Ignatius of Loyola’s tabernacle is in the process of being restored! It was removed this past week, and will return in 4-8 weeks. Thank you for giving so generously to the #igivecatholic campaign on Giving Tuesday.
