All are invited to participate in this annual Christmas service project, which benefits various underprivileged children, seniors, and pregnancy centers in our area. When picking a tag, please stay safe and social distance. Try to avoid touching tags you are not going to take. There are gloves in the back of church.

Ornaments need to be returned with the specified gifts by the 12 noon Mass on Sunday, December 13. New this year, gifts are to be taken to Loyola Hall. You are encouraged to drop your gift off early in the parish office lobby beginning December 7. Volunteers are needed to help the Girl Scouts sort and deliver the gifts on Sunday afternoon, December 13. Families are encouraged to contribute to this effort.

Please call Tara Binder to volunteer: 513-385-1516. Thank you for your generosity and continued commitment to this cause!

While the holidays are supposed to be one of the happiest times of the year with its focus on God and family, they often produce a lot of anxiety and stress when that family is broken by parental divorce, separation, or other forms of brokenness. As now-adult children of these families, we need help to not just survive the holidays, but to try to have the joy that Christ intended us to have during these holy occasions. So this holiday support group is aimed at just that – unlocking the joy and peace of Christ.

The Life-Giving Wounds holiday support group will take place online over two evenings, November 19 (before Thanksgiving) and December 17 (before Christmas), 8:30 – 10:00 p.m. EST each night. The cost is $15 ($10 for college students). Click on the website below for the schedule, topics, speakers, and registration.

Everyone 6th grade and up is welcome to participate. Adults and the homebound are also welcome to participate. Meetings will take place the second and fourth Fridays of every month  from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in Loyola Hall (same time and place). Any questions contact Madalyn Hardig at rosaryguild@sainti.org.

The Parish health Ministry has identified a need within the parish to expand our existing Friendly Visitor/Friendly Contact program. As the largest population ages, the “Baby Boomers”, and the pandemic shows no sign of retreating, we are faced with a growing group in the parish that suffer from isolation and loneliness. Due to the pandemic, we are not routinely visiting homebound/ facility-bound parishioners, but calling them on a weekly basis. We are looking for MEN and WOMEN volunteers to offer one to two hours per week to contact two to four homebound parishioners on a weekly basis. There will be one training session offered (date to be announced), along with printed guidelines. if you feel called to reach out to a homebound/facility-bound parishioner, please contact the director of the Parish health Ministry, Barb Evans, RN, at 513-661-6565. In the future, there may be opportunities to visit these homebound parishioners.

Also the Parish health Ministry would like to identify those parishioners needing a friendly visitor/friendly contact. Contact Barb Evans if you know of a parishioner who would benefit from contact with their parish community in this manner.
