Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
There has been a definite shift over the last several decades to drown out the reality of Hell. Satan has done a fine job of convincing us that there is no Hell and even if there were, God loves all of us too much to allow any of us to end up there. However, this is simply not true. All throughout the Gospels, Jesus speaks bluntly about what happens to souls who refuse repentance and a turning away from sin. We must be diligent and watchful. We must be willing to forgive even the worst offenses against us in order to live in eternity with God. Hell is a horrible reality for many souls who have stood
stripped naked before the judgement seat of Christ. It is not good enough to be our own version of a “good person”.
Suppose my version differs from yours? Whose version is correct or better? Do you see why we must rely on Truth itself to show us the way to Heaven? That same Truth who says that the way to Heaven is a “narrow road” which leads to a “narrow gate”, which few enter?
This is why having every available Sacrament just prior to death is so important and why the 7th promise of our Blessed Mother to those devoted to the Rosary is so generous and beautiful. It is our last chance at salvation, which our merciful God extends to our very last breath. There have many death bed conversions and souls saved from the abundant grace which pours forth from these gifts. Only a fool would refuse these!
Our heavenly Mother loves us so much and wants us with Her after our lives here on earth are finished. Lean into promise #7 and be comforted that you shall be granted the opportunity for final repentance before meeting the Just Judge.
