The Word Made Flesh: Foreshadowed, Fulfilled, Forever!
Presented by Father Richard Veras
Father Veras was ordained to the Priesthood for the Archdiocese of New York in 1996.
He is currently serving as Director
of Pastoral Formation at St. Joseph’s Seminary and the Chaplain for the Lay Ecclesial Movement: Communion and Liberation. Father Veras is the author of two books: Jesus of Israel: Finding Jesus in the Old Testament and Wisdom for Everyday Life from the Book of Revelation. He is also a regular contributor to Magnificat magazine.
Father Veras has previously served
in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in the Bronx and in St. Joseph – St. Thomas Church on Staten Island.
He was Pastor of St. Rita’s Church
on Staten Island. He has taught Religion at Archbishop Stepinac High School, White Plains, and at Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Poughkeepsie.
