Thank yous are already in order for the warm welcome I have received at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church! My name is Beth Scholl, and I am excited to join the parish staff as the new Coordinator of Youth Faith Formation. Upon feeling called to teach young minds, especially about the beauty of our Catholic Faith, I returned to school to earn a Master’s degree in Education, and also took some courses at the Athenaeum. I have 12 years teaching experience in parochial schools and 8 years directing parish religious education for students, while working in other parish roles for St. Joseph Church North Bend, including Adult Faith Formation.

I was blessed to grow up in a strong Catholic home, and to be able to share my faith with my husband, Dave, our two grown children, Tori (Austin), and Drew (Taylor) and our first grandchild, Blaine, in addition to all the families I have met through multiple Catholic Churches. And now I am blessed even more to share the Good News with the parishioners of St. Ignatius! God is good, and we all need to embrace that we live “For the Greater Glory of God,” so that others may believe and have eternal life. God bless!

Hello! My name is Chris Denman, and I’m very excited to join the St. Ignatius team as Coordinator of Parish Communications! The St. Ignatius community has been, and continues to be, a welcoming and meaningful part of my family’s life. All six of my children (Alexis, Cameron, Grayson, Clare, Lily, and Zach) are either current students or alumni of the school. Along with my wife, Sarah, we have been parishioners for over a decade.

My professional background is in technical communications. I earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in technical and scientific communications. I worked for nearly a decade for an IT consulting firm before becoming a private consultant for two years. Before taking this role, I was blessed with the opportunity to be a stay-at-home parent for my children. With my youngest child entering full-day kindergarten starting this fall, I was ready to apply my God-given talents to a new venture, and that’s when I discovered this opportunity. Now I’m excited to do what I love as an advocate for the community I care so deeply about. I look forward to working with and for you all. Praise God!
