This year our guest speaker will be Brad Macke! Brad Macke, our new Director of Adult Faith Formation and Outreach, will be giving several talks on a Catholic approach to redemptive suffering, including why there is suffering, the value of suffering, and how Mary is a model for us. Brad has been married to his wife Emily for 8 years. They have three daughters ages 6, 4, and 2. After a time of reversion to the Catholic faith, he studied at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Washington, DC. Before working in parish ministry, he was a high school theology teacher and campus minister for six years. Brad finds the reality of redemptive suffering to be a constant source of conversion and hope in his own life.

Due to Covid restrictions we have limited seating this year.  Please reserve your spot by submitting a check payable to St. Ignatius of Loyola Church to the Parish Office, ATTN: Brad Macke.

Social distancing guidelines, following the directives of both the Archdiocese and the governor regarding public safety, including wearing masks will be expected.

Start the new year right, renew your spirit and closeness with Christ .

Every dollar makes a difference in covering our expenses,” says a Trappist abbot. Hundreds of US religious communities struggle to provide for aging members because most senior Catholic sisters, brothers and religious order priests served for little pay. Your gift to the Retirement Fund for Religious helps these communities bridge the gap, offering support for medications, nursing care and other necessities. Please be generous. You may donate at Masses this December 12-13 or by mail at Office for Consecrated Life, Attn. Maria Reinagel, 100 E. 8th Street, Cincinnati, 45202. Please make your check payable to Archdiocese of Cincinnati/ RFR. You can also donate online here: www.Catholicaoc.org/rfr.
