St. Ignatius Parish Giving Tree

The 8th grade Girl Scouts are coordinators for the Giving Tree that will be in the back of church starting Saturday, November 27. All are invited to participate in this annual Christmas service project, which benefits various underprivileged children, seniors, and pregnancy centers in our area.
– Choose ornament(s) off the Giving Tree
– Return the specified gift (with the ornament tag) by the 12:00 noon Mass on Sunday, December 12 to Loyola Hall
– Gifts should cost around $25 – All gifts should be wrapped unless otherwise marked on the ornament.

Please call Jen Doenges with any questions (513-703- 9544). Thank you for your generosity and continued commitment to this wonderful cause.

Support the Mater
Filius Home

We also will again be collecting money after masses on December 4th & 5th to support Mater Filius Home that provides housing for expectant women who have no place to stay and need support to stabilize themselves as they learn to be nurturing mothers. Last year’s campaign allowed Mater Filius to pay its operating expenses for one entire month, and they have recently acquired a second home that they are renovating. This year we have a limited supply of a different Keep Christ in Christmas magnet as a thank you.

While there was “No Room at the Inn” for Joseph and Mary, when she was pregnant in Bethlehem on the first Christmas, your support will help “Make Room at the Inn” for struggling mothers this Christmas.   Please watch for additional information about this year’s “Make Room at the Inn” program.
