St. Ignatius Parish Giving Tree

The 8th grade Girl Scouts are coordinators for the Giving Trees that will be in the front and back of church starting Saturday, November 25th. All are invited to participate in this annual Christmas service project, which benefits various pregnancy centers, seniors, and underserved children and families in our area.

Return gifts with ornament tag attached by 12:00pm mass on Sunday, December 10th, 2023.

Support the Mater Filius Home

Mater Filius Queen City is a home that helps pregnant women who lack the support of family or who are experiencing financial difficulties. Its services include providing a transitional residence for women during a crisis pregnancy, and helping mothers learn to appreciate and understand the great blessing that has entered their life and how to best care for that blessing in a healthy and stable manner. Its mission is to safeguard the life of the unborn child and defend the dignity of the child’s mother, regardless of how the child was conceived.

Following each mass on December 2nd and 3rd members of LaSalle Knights of Columbus will be collecting money for Mater Filius. They can accept cash or checks made out to Mater Filius Queen City.All donations will go directly to Mater Filius, and individual Knights will match the first $600 collected. Please Donate.
