The Stephen Ministry offers one-to-one Christian Care to individuals facing life challenges or difficulties. We have 15 ministers at St. I’s, two of which are leaders for the past 6 years, Mickey Merritt and Barb Evans. They would like to pass on the leadership roles during the coming year.
A Stephen Ministry Leader oversees and directs the ministry. They recruit, select, train, organize, and supervise the Stephen Ministers. They identify people who need help, and match them with a Stephen Minister.
