An extreme amendment is on the Ohio ballot in November that threatens the health and safety of women, the rights of parents and the lives of pre-born babies up to 9 months.
Video 1 Father Jacob Lindle reflects on the readings of this past weekend (19th Sunday in Ordinary Time). In our first reading, Elijah meets God not in the strong wind, not in the earthquake, and not in the fire. He meets Him, instead, in the tiny whispering sound of a small voice. We, too, must find God’s voice in the poorest and most vulnerable, the child.
Christ as Our Coach

Where can we find God?

Father Jacob Boddicker, SJ, reflects on the readings of the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time. “These sinners listened to John the Baptist and his appeal to repent of their sins, and they did so. But these religious men ignored John and, therefore, are ignoring Christ. When it comes to abortion, our Church has condemned this sin as murder. And we have to remember that even if we fail in our efforts to save the lives of innocent children, there are other lives wounded by abortion: the mother, the father, the doctor, the nurse,” said Father Boddicker.
