Why We’re Catholic

When you first learned the Catholic Faith, you were a different person than you are today.

You had the mind and maturity of a young person. Then after those confusing teen years, you began to face life equipped only with an understanding of Jesus and the Church based on those early learning years. As an adult, you now face life’s challenges, experiences, situations, and encounters with a secular society that you likely find difficult to integrate with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Additionally, your spiritual growth has been hindered by applying immature theological understandings to complexities and questions of modern living. And amidst all this, the Church is calling you to evangelize in your family, your workplace, and social circles! How is such a task possible?
It is possible, and can become a reality! Through current information on all faith topics covered in a book titled Why We’re Catholic, we tackle the teachings of the Church and the questions that arise over six Wednesday evening sessions that last about 90 minutes each. The book is free, and your input is encouraged as we discuss topics like contraception, annulments, indulgences, and same sex marriage.
The next scheduled session starts Wednesday, February 25, 2026… a great Lenten commitment!
