The Giving Trees are back in church! We invite everyone to participate in this annual Christmas service project, which benefits various pregnancy centers, seniors, and underserved children and families in our area.

Mater Filius Queen City is a home that helps pregnantwomen who lack the support of family or who are experiencing financial difficulties. Its services include providing a transitional residence for women during a crisis pregnancy, and helping mothers learn to appreciate and understand the great blessing that has entered their life and how to best care for that blessing in a healthy and stable manner. Its mission is to safeguard the life of the unborn child and defend the dignity of the child’s mother, regardless of how the child was conceived.
Following each Mass on December 6 and 7, members of LaSalle Knights of Columbus will be collecting money for Mater Filius. They can accept cash or checks made out to Mater Filius Queen City.
