October Outreach – Mary Garden Shower Ministry

Thank you so much St Ignatius of Loyola School’s outreach project supported our Mary Garden Shower Ministry!  Several baby showers are hosted throughout the year for mothers in need. Students helped provide baby essentials from their registries, food and decorations to make the showers a beautiful and special event. We were also able to donate diapers to Pregnancy Center West!  

Thank you also to all of the students who created beautiful baby shower cards for our most recent baby shower recipient, Alivia. These heartfelt notes were truly appreciated.

Mary Garden Shower Ministry is a way that our parish serves families in need. MGS is truly an entire parish ministry; everyone is invited to attend the showers to celebrate the mom, pray with her, and provide needed gifts from her registry. Being present to these women can be just as great of a gift as a material gift, and is a way to evangelize and share Christ’s love. Find more info about the ministry here.
