September Outreach Benefits Red Cross

St. Ignatius School’s September outreach project raised $1,042 for the American Red Cross. On Friday, September 27, students brought in donations and prayers to benefit the organization. This support helps the American Red Cross continue its mission to alleviate human suffering in times of disaster.

During the month of September, St. Ignatius students studied the virtue of hope, “trusting in God’s loving plan.”. Raising money for the American Red Cross was a great way to put the virtue into practice. Their website shares a reflection by Mr. Fred Rogers that highlights how hope can be found in all of those who help in the midst of a catastrophe.

The Greater Cincinnati-Dayton region of the American Red Cross serves 27 counties in Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana. In addition to providing disaster response, they also provide emergency services for military families, as well as health & safety training for the general public. Thank you to everyone who participated in last month’s outreach project!
