Remote Learning FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What date are we scheduled to return to school?

The Governor extended the stay at home order until 11:59 pm on May 1. We plan on returning on Monday, May 4.

Will First Communion, Confirmation, and Graduation occur?

Yes! These special events will be conducted at some time in the near future. The dates and times are being discussed based on the return to school. First Communion is scheduled for June 13 and 14.

How can a parent access Google classroom?

Google Classroom was created as a student resource. Since there is no parent portal, we suggest that all parents ask their children for the username and password of the student account.

Are Zoom lessons mandatory?

We highly encourage all students to attend the live zoom lessons during the week. This time with the teachers allows them to interact with the students and determine if students currently understand the concepts being taught. If a child is sick and cannot attend the live session, a recorded version will be posted for the student to watch.

What do we do if my child has tech issues?

Please log a tech ticket at the student help desk located at this site.  The technology staff will address the issue in a short time. Make sure to log back into the helpdesk to check the status of the issue.

Who do we need to contact if someone has been diagnosed with Covid-19, or if we have been asked to quarantine due to a possible exposure?

Please contact the school nurse, Mrs. Kathy Reder.

Are there resources for parents to use during this remote learning time?

Yes, we are posting how-to guides, links to applications, and the student help desk on the school’s website. Click on “For Parents” and choose Remote Learning.
