Our Lady’s Prayer Group

The group meets every Thursday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. during Adoration in the church for private prayer (including a set of prayers for all who have requested them) and Eucharistic Adoration. For more information, contact Colleen Karwisch at bkarwisch@fuse.net or Mary Ellen Krommer at mekrommer@gmail.com.

Millions of Monicas

Like St. Monica, we pray for our children, relatives, and friends in need of God’s mercy and a return to the practice of their Catholic Faith. Join the Millions of Monicas prayer group here at St. Ignatius. We meet the third Monday of each month, immediately following the 7 p.m. Mass in church at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Women are invited to gather for one hour of guided prayer, which always includes a Rosary. All women are welcome. Many who attend are mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, aunts, confirmation sponsors, and friends who follow the example of St. Monica in her perseverance in prayer. You are not required to be a member of St. Ignatius parish. This is not a support group and no sensitive information is shared. If you have questions, please call Beth Kautzmann at 513.515.8083, Peggy Rose at 513.623.2176, or Sue Klump at 513.312.5750. Please join us!

F.I.R.E.

🔥 You’re Invited to F.I.R.E. 🔥

Faithful Intercessors Reaching Everyone

You’re invited to join a movement of prayer and connection in our parish intended to build up the parish and school community! The F.I.R.E. prayer team is being formed by parishioners as an act of love for our families with school-aged children! The idea for this initiative stems from the reality that it has become increasingly challenging to raise children today, especially in the faith, and we want to offer our prayer support to our parish families. Whether you are seasoned in intercession or new to it, you are welcome!

When: Each month of the school year, as your schedule permits

Where: Wherever YOU like to pray

What to bring: An open heart and willingness to pray

How it will work:

1. Offer to join by emailing StIgnatiusFIREteam@gmail.com.

2. You will be assigned a homeroom in the school, a group of homeschool children, or a group within our Youth Faith Formation program. You will be told the number of families in that group. For example, you could be asked to pray for homeroom 12, which has students from 23 families.

3. Pray and/or sacrifice every month in any way of your choosing. Suggestions: A daily Hail Mary, attend a weekday Mass, say a weekly Divine Mercy Chaplet, pray a weekly Rosary, fast from social media for a day, etc.

4. You will receive a reminder email on the first of the month to both thank you and encourage you.

Let’s ignite our parish with the flame of faith, love, and care for each other! Join us and help spread the warmth. If you have any questions, please reach out at ann.gundlach@gmail.com or 513.532.5213 (call or text).
