Interested in Catholicism for your children?
God created you out of His overflowing love to be united with Him forever. When the sin of our first ancestors, Adam and Eve, separated us from God, He did not let it end there. He sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to enter our humanity, dwell among us, and seek after us to heal us and save us. God has given us all that we need in His Church in order to encounter Him, to be brought back into relationship with Him, and to the life He has planned for us.
Each parent has a beautiful responsibility to give their children the gift of God’s love, teach them to know and serve God, and raise them in a faith community. Our parish is honored to support parents on this journey. In a Catholic’s life, the Sacraments are given to us by Jesus to celebrate our faith and grow in our participation in God’s divine life. There are three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. If you choose to bring your children into our Catholic Church, they will prepare for and receive these Sacraments. They will get to know Jesus, learn important Catholic teachings, and reflect on how their faith impacts who they are. You will also receive resources to help your family make Jesus the center of your home.
