As we support each child, our educators are delivering foundational knowledge, skills, and well-rounded content to guide students\u2019 leadership and reasoning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also pay careful attention to their needs in these five areas of social and emotional learning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Self-awareness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social awareness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relationship skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible decision-making<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These areas are based on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/casel.org\/fundamentals-of-sel\/what-is-the-casel-framework\/#interactive-casel-wheel\">Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning\u2019s Framework<\/a>. Teachers have known for a long time that the so-called \u201csoft skills\u201d are must-haves for students.
