Musings from Fr. Dave ~ 23rd Sunday Ordinary Time

I hope everyone had a pleasant Labor Day. Summer is unofficially over, and we look forward to Autumn with all its colors and refreshing coolness.

The message for this Sunday is simple: Love your neighbor and be a good example of Christian living to others. It is a simple message but not so easy to live out. We often have unresolved hurts that harbor an unwillingness to forgive, making a truly peaceful life seem impossible. If you feel that way, now is the time to place your trust and prayers with the Holy Spirit. As hard as that seems, I would encourage you to just “let go, and give in” to the power of Gods Grace. Peace is not easy. Anger is. Anyone can be angry. It takes courage to seek peace. Let us pray for one another this week.
Love,
Fr. Dave
